Terms of Service
Effective date: 01/01/2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of SiteZero, a trading name of Aurexis Group Ltd (“SiteZero,” “Aurexis Group,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), including our website build service and ongoing hosting. By signing up for SiteZero, you agree to these Terms.
1. The service
SiteZero designs and builds a website for your business at no upfront cost, hosted on our platform, in exchange for a recurring monthly hosting fee. Full details of what’s included are set out below.
2. Ownership of the website
The underlying website build, code, templates, and design system used to create your site remain the property of Aurexis Group Ltd at all times. Your subscription grants you the right to have your site built, hosted, and displayed under your business’s branding for as long as your account remains active — it does not transfer ownership of the underlying build to you.
3. Domains
Where you provide your own domain, it remains your property and we will simply connect it to your site.
Where you do not have an existing domain, Aurexis Group will register a suitable domain on your behalf as part of setting up your website, so that your site can go live without delay. This domain is registered and held by Aurexis Group Ltd for the purposes of delivering your website and hosting service.
If you cancel your subscription and would like to keep using that domain, it may be transferred into your name for a transfer fee, payable at the time of cancellation. Domain transfer is not automatic and must be requested.
4. Fees & payment
- There is no setup fee. Your site is built at no upfront cost.
- Hosting and support is billed at £49.99/month (or the then-current listed price), collected via recurring subscription through our payment processor.
- Hosting includes reasonable ongoing support such as text and image swaps to your existing pages. It does not include full redesigns, new page builds, or additional functionality, which may be quoted separately.
- We reserve the right to change our pricing from time to time. Where we do, we will give you reasonable notice before any change takes effect on your account.
- If a payment fails, we will attempt to notify you and collect payment again. If payment cannot be collected, your service may be suspended until the account is brought up to date.
5. Term, cancellation & suspension
- Your subscription is a rolling monthly agreement with no minimum term. You may cancel at any time.
- To avoid being billed for the next month, cancellation must be requested before your next renewal date.
- If you cancel, your site will remain live for a grace period of 14 days from your cancellation date, after which it will be taken down.
- We may suspend or terminate your account where: payment is not received, the service is used abusively or in a way that disrupts our platform or other clients, or your business or its use of the site is found to be illegal or in breach of these Terms.
6. Content & intellectual property
Any content you provide to us for use on your site — including logos, images, text, and testimonials — must be content you own or have the right to use. You retain ownership of anything you provide.
Any original content, imagery, or copy that we create for your site as part of the build remains the property of Aurexis Group Ltd, licensed to you for use on your site for as long as your account is active, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
7. Service levels
Our hosting is provided on a best-effort basis. While we aim for high availability, we do not guarantee uninterrupted uptime, as our platform relies on third-party infrastructure outside our direct control.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Our total liability to you arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the service, however caused, is limited to the total fees paid by you to us in the 3 months preceding the claim.
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, including loss of profits, loss of business, or loss of data, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such loss.
- Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
